Software - Math Apprentice

Students often question the importance of math after they leave school.

This software enables students to connect math concepts with real world
careers. The targeted age group are grades 4-7. Users create a character
working as a intern from one of eight available companies.The user then
explores math concepts and solve problems specific to the career chosen.
Some career options include artist, bike professional, resturant owner and
game programmer. Students are able to grasp an idea of what math is
necessary to function in the work environment.
